A superior family drama about a pair of 60's radicals, still on the run from the FBI, trying to raise a family. Christine Lahti and Judd Hirsch are the concerned parents. River Phoenix is the caring son who dreams of living a life free of constant changes in identity. With Martha Plimpton as the wise and rebellious love interest and Steven Hill as the establishment grandfather. Terrific acting all around.
