Frank Sinatra's directorial debut casts him as a Marine medic who finds himself and his crew stranded on a South Pacific island during World War II. They soon discover that the island is populated by Japanese forces, and a fragile truce is agreed upon when Sinatra saves a Japanese soldier's life. Clint Walker, Tommy Sands, Tony Bill and Tatsuya Mihashi co-star.
