'The Beast' being Eric Bana's 1974 Ford XB Falcon Coupe which he loves more than just about anything in the world. In this entertaining and affectionate documentary, directed by the actor himself, Bana explores his obsession with this car in particular, and automobiles in general, enlisting some professional help along the way including fellow car enthusiasts Jeremy Clarkson and Jay Leno; and he even has a session with celebrity shrink, Dr Phil. Meanwhile the 'storyline' follows the ever-amiable Bana's run-up to the Targa Tasmania rally, but after two years' preparation, disaster strikes...
