Lee is an unmotivated, thirty-something flatting in London with Kate, an attractive and successful American on whom he has a crush. Unfortunately, not only is she his landlady, but she is also the ex of his best mate. The two male stars (Lee Mack and Tim Vine) are both well-known stand-up comics in the UK, and Mack also co-wrote the show which is full of his characteristic sardonic wit and snappy one-liners. Quickfire comic Tim Vine once held the Guinness World Record for the most jokes told in an hour (an incredible 499) and they only counted if they got a laugh!
