Georgia is a rambunctious, boy-crazy teen living in Eastbourne, England, where she and her mates spend their days puzzling over the strange new world of sex and boys. Just as she is bemoaning the dreadful state of her life - embarrassing parents, rotten little sister, no boyfriend - a dreamy new kid starts school, and Georgia finds herself in a battle with the mean girl for his affections. Based on the entertaining book series by Louise Rennison, this is both giddily girly and snappily smart, with Georgia a satisfying dose of real teen-ism in a world obsessed with the squeaky clean Hannah Montana. Alan Davies co-stars as Georgia's dad whose job relocation to New Zealand is just one potential spanner in the works.
