Confession of Pain
Tony Leung plays world-weary detective Hei, who, following the brutal murder of his father-in-law, enlists the help of his former partner-turned-private eye, Bong (Takeshi Kaneshiro). What at first seems a simple revenge killing soon unfolds to be anything but simple. Charismatic leads elevate this largely forgettable psychologicval thriller from the directing team Andy Lau and Alan Mak.
