Blinded
Danish backpacker, Mike Hammershoi is running from a dark secret. Hoping to find work, he arrives at Black's estate, a shuttered, decaying mansion, cut off from the outside world. The blind owner Francis (Peter Mullan) reluctantly offers him a job but an unsettling atmosphere changes the backpacker's mind - until he meets Rachel, Francis's enigmatic young wife. Peter Mullan is broodlingly ferocious in this claustrophobic and atmospheric pyschological thriller that also stars Phyllida Law and Jodhi May.
