Sound and Fury
This Academy Award-nominated documentary follows the intimate and touching story of a family with both deaf and hearing members spanning three generations who must now confront technology that may allow the deaf to hear. But what will that do to their deaf culture and the strong bonds it has helped them form? Incisive and emotionally involving, the Artinian family of Glen Cove, New York have allowed the filmmakers incredible access in exploring what is to them, a very personal dilemma.
