"The Sheik" (1921) - The film that helped cement the Valentino legend has Lady Diana Mayo (Agnes Ayres) falling under the spell of desert chieftan Ahmed Ben Hassan (Rudolph Valentino). "The Son of the Sheik" (1926) - This sequel to the 1921 adventure 'The Sheik', proved to be the bedroomed eyed, ex-gardener Rudolph Valentino's final film. Made shortly before his death at age 31, it was released to coincide with his funeral and was an immediate hit.
