Grey Gardens
A unique film portrait of Edith and Edie Bouvier Beale, a mother/daughter duo of former socialites, relatives of Jackie Kennedy Onassis, who lived a reclusive existence in their decaying Hamptons estate. The common bonds that repel and attract the women form the basis for David and Albert Maysles' "fugue of remembrance and recrimination."
